Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, Tarntida Wilkinson graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems from Burapha University. She had always wanted to be a teacher, tutoring English in high school. After moving to the US to improve her English skills, Tarntida worked as an Au Pair for several years. Upon returning to Bangkok, she met her soon-to-be husband (who is a VMS alum!) and moved to Athens, Georgia for his work, where Tarntida became a preschool teacher. "Seeing children learn and play has inspired me to become a better teacher for them." Tarntida joined VMS in January 2022 and says the Montessori method has changed her for the better. This past summer, she began her journey toward achieving an AMS Infant & Toddler teacher credential. Tarntida is currently fulfilling her student teaching requirement in our Toddler classroom. She cannot wait to better serve the VMS community!
